Older people may notice the spread of stiffness
more quickly than younger or more active individuals.
However
people who adopt very sedentary jobs or spend many hours driving can also
suffer a greater symptom spread than people with more active jobs.
Stiffness,
together with the disability it brings, can make you feel older than you
are.

pain can be put down to wear and tear when it may actually be more closely
related to the build-up of deep muscular or joint stiffness |
